Illustrations

One day, a senior editor at the business desk decided to include an original illustration with a weekly interview feature. Initially, an artist from the graphics team was assigned the task, but soon our department was told we needed to produce them ourselves. I took the initiative and started drawing. It was challenging, and the results weren't always perfect, but one thing was for sure: it was very effective at grabbing readers' attention. I truly enjoyed the process. While working as a financial news designer, I noticed a major void in editorial illustrations for business and financial news. Now, I am developing a set of illustrations for common themes in business stories.
